The Acadian Ambulance Service dispatcher number is 1-800-259-1111. Call 911 for emergency ambulance service or 511 for a direct line to Acadian Ambulance.

Automobile Tags
Newcomers from another state must immediately title and register all their vehicles with the Office of Motor Vehicles. Bring your out-of-state title, registration certificate, and proof of insurance to the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you are from another Louisiana parish, you will need to bring a registration and tag receipt to transfer your tags.

School Registration
Students attending Louisiana Public Schools for the first time are required to have the following: birth certificate; proof of immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, polio, whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus; and eye, ear, and dental exams.
